Daikon Happa
(Daikon Leaves)

All of the leaves of the Daikon can be used for this dish.

Leaves of one whole Daikon
Outer skin of one whole Daikon
2 tsp sesame seeds
soy sauce, sugar, salt to taste
sesame oil for frying

Chop the leaves and stem of the Daikon 3/4 inch or smaller. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the leaves and skin together in the pan about 4 minutes. Add the sesame seeds and continue cooking another 2 minutes. Slowly add the soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Serve over rice or noodles.
